Austin by Jeannine Colette & Lauren Runow is the 1st book they have written as a team. I have been following the two talented ladies since their first books. I was excited to read this book to see just what the two authors would come up with.

Falcon is a mysterious, undefeated street racer. The crowd at the illegal street race part like the Red Sea when his '69 Chevy Camaro rumbles its way through the abandoned lot. The guys envy his car and girls just stare at him. He wears an over size hoodie and always has a hat pulled low over his brow with his hood covering the sides. This is his high! He feels he is a god of the racetrack, and this his hidden life.

Everyone knows him at the races as Falcon, and not Austin Sexton, middle son of one of the most prominent families in San Francisco. Part owner of the billion dollar company Sexton Media, and is President of the Digital Media within Sexton Media. His deceased mother had built this company from a local quarterly
magazine into a billion dollar empire. Austin and his two brothers, Bryce & Tanner, own 50% of the company. The problem is that their father and wicked step-mom own the other 50%.

Jalynn Smith, meets Falcon at the race she attended to try to save her brother Beckett. She has an “Opp!” moment, when she accidentally crosses a line causing a false start. Next thing she knows she is being pulled by one of the racers and put into his car. The race starts over, but Falcon now has a passenger which was previously unheard of ever happening. When sirens can be heard coming their way, Falcon then finishes winning the race, and then taking off with the girl. Their mad dash might be considered their first date. Without even a name he drops her off at home. Imagine both their surprise, when the next morning Austin walks into work to find Jalynn is his brother Bryse's new assistant. She also recognizes who he is!! Trouble is what that means!!

When Jalynn & Austin's story concludes, we get a glimpse of the next book the ladies plan to write: BRYCE: A Sexton Brothers Novel coming in November.

I got to read this book ahead-ARC
I really enjoyed this story and the characters!Jeannine and Lauren have a great start to the Sexton Brothers series!
Wow! Austin is an action-packed, fun-filled adventure, with love at the heart of the story. An alpha male and a strong-willed female bring snarky banter to life. Jeannine Colette and Lauren Runow knocked their first co-write out of the park in this perfect marriage of both authors' styles. You won't want to miss out on meeting Austin.
Austin was a wonderful character. I loved the story crafted with such care. It was fast paced and hot. I loved the female paired with our guy. Austin has a difficult road in the family. With a new stepmother to navigate it gave this story a really fresh perspective. I can't wait for the other work in this series. denise bailey
I love everything that both Lauren Runow and Jeannine Colette write, so when I heard that they were both writing together I literally squealed with excitement. And I have to say I was not disappointed. This story was packed with so many more feels than I had expected. There is nothing I love more than a story with lots of hot moments and also full of feels. I enjoyed the writing and can not wait for more from these brothers. ABSOLUTELY a must read! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!
Austin is an amazing story! I knew I was going to love it from the very beginning and you know I love a book when I finish reading it in one day with a full blown migraine.

If you love a cocky and arrogant Book Boyfriend who is broken and just needs a little TLC then Austin Sexton is the man for you.

This story has it all. It has love, sibling rivalry and sacrifices for family, a wicked step mother, a dash of Fast and the Furious, and loads of twist and unexpected turns.

I only have a handful of favorites heroines and Jalynn is on that list. She is independent, feisty, funny and will sacrifice everything for those she loves. She loves wholeheartedly.

I found the perfect quote for this book, “Your past does not determined who you are. Your past prepares you for who you are to become.”

I can’t wait to see more of Austin and Jalynn and read all about Austin’s Big Brother Bryce!

Austin is an amazing, quick and super fast paced read that will keep you hooked the entire time!
I love both of these authors separately, and together they are simply magical. Their writing together is just seamless, you can't really tell who wrote what. I also believe that they're highly underrated and that more people should discover and read their amazing books.

With that said, lol, let's talk about Austin. What can I say, this is such a cool and interesting story. Austin Sexton is a media mogul by day and a race car driver by night. He's from a prominent family and works hard to keep his family legacy. At the same time, racing is his passion and what keeps him sane. He's hot, smart and confident, and he definitely goes for what he wants. But Austin is so much more complex than that, but you'll have to read more to figure it out. Jalynn is a simple girl that lives to help her family. She's not afraid to speak her mind and tell it how it is. Once they meet, sparks fly everywhere, their connection is simply undeniable.

I loved Jalynn so much, she's sassy and sweet and overall a great character. I loved the banter and back and forth between her and Austin. And their chemistry is off the charts. I loved that Austin was so complex and how she was able to unravel him and his secrets. I also loved the romance, the slow burn and the hottness!

Overall, this is a great read. I can't freaking wait for Bryce's story. But I must warn you, Bryce is mine. I have already called dibs on him. Pick up Austin today, you won't be disappointed!!! <3
