No One in the World A Novel E Lynn Harris RM Johnson Books

No One In the World by E. Lynn Harris and RM Johnson has received great reviews. Based on those reviews I was excited to begin this book. As I began to read it I found it to be very predictable.

The book begins with the life of Kobi Winslow and his mega rich family. Kobi has an issue that his father isn't too happy about and does not mask his unhappiness with Kobi very well. Kobi has one sibling that he is aware of and that's his sister, Sissy. After am unfortunate event Kobi learns he has a twin.

Kobi begins his quest for his sibling and encounters him in the most unlikely place you would think of. I guess this is where the story is supposed to take off. This is the point I found it to be predictable and rather boring.

As a result of the tragedy Sissy and Kobi have to make decisions that Sissy believes will be the best for the family business. Though Kobi may not agree with the decisions Sissy makes for him for some unknown reason he goes along with them without a fight.

There were certain parts of the book I didn't understand. Where did certain feelings manifest? This book left a lot of unanswered questions for me and I can honestly say I doubt very much that I will be reading the sequel if there is one.

No One in the World A Novel E Lynn Harris RM Johnson Books Reviews

What an amazing collobration between two talented authors. RM Johnson and E. Lynn Harris created a wonderful rollcoaster ride for the reader. All I wanted to do was finish this book; could not put it down. A very interesting story line, filled with well developed characters, and a dash of mystery paved the way for a brilliant, well written book.
I host a book club monthly and I chose a book from E Lynn because I have always heard of him. So I looked for his book with the most reviews and it was this one, rightfully so. I along with the other book club members enjoyed this book from the jump which is rare usually it takes quite a few chapters before I become interested in a book.
Great book! I bought it to complete my collection.
I just finished this book and boy was it a good read!!! These two authors put together a masterpiece. I literally did not want the book to end.

No One in the World had me sitting on the edge of my seat. The ending had me holding my breath and I have one question for RM Johnson...please tell me there will be a sequel!!! I'm dying to find out what happened!!
"No One in the World" was an excellent read!!!! I absolutely loved it from beginning to end. Its so refreshing to read drama thats not only exciting but believable! Some books are so drama-filled that it truly lacks believability! I've always been a fan of E. Lynn Harris and will truly miss his work; after reading this book, I'm now a fan of RM Johnson too! I will dive into his composition of novels next! I highly recommend this book and all of E Lynn Harris' books!
As an avid ELH fan I was frankly shocked at the how poorly conceived and executed this collaboration was. Other than a handful of clever twists that stopped this from being rated one star, the dialog was stilted and predictable, and the characters so fleeting and two-dimensional it just made me wonder why Mr Johnson bothered. After grimly soldiering through the 111 two- to three-page chapters, the climax of the book was so ridiculous and so unbelievable I had to laugh out loud at myself for having read it for so long. Please, keep your memory of the fantastic E Lynn unsullied and, especially in this economy, your money in your pocket.
I'm a big fan of RM Johnson's "Million Dollar" series, and I have enjoyed the few books I have read by the late E. Lynn Harris. Them coming together was kind of a let down. I think if the first half of the novel was cut down by 40%, the book would've been much better.
Although Sissy was loyal to her brother, Cobi, I disliked her from beginning to end. Cobi irked my nerves. He didn't have any control of his life. The same for Austen. Black was...ehhh. He added a nice storyline to the story. I felt very bad for Eric and rooted for him throughout the entire book. I don't know if I care if there will be a part two, but I slightly wouldn't mind it. Hopefully it would be much better than this.
